Final year BE/ME Electrical Engineering student.
University of New South Wales, Sydney.
ME. Thesis (in progress):
Impacts of Grid-forming Inverters on Distance Protection.
Hons. Thesis (completed 2025):
Modelling and Optimising Future Electric Aircraft Charging for Regional Airports.
Explored battery swapping systems as a load deferment method to maintain strong on-time performance of services at airports facing constrained grid supply. Determined optimal system sizing for use with training aircraft and upcoming all-electric passenger aircraft. Explored different scheduling regimes which prioritised economy, emissions reduction, or on-time performance. Scenarios were formulated based on real-world data from regional Australian airports, the NEM, and emissions models.
I received a High Distinction for this thesis.
